One on one meetings with a qualified careers advisor are available to workers through the Holden Transition Centres. The careers advisors will analyse workers’ skills, experience and intentions and where training is assessed as being required, the individual is provided with course suggestions, (including specific skills sets) at a range of training providers.
The employee can use a training provider suggested by the careers advisor or a provider they have identified.
- University qualifications or specific subjects are also options for support.
- Training decisions are driven by the availability of local employment opportunities.
